General purpose:         To define, sensitize, and persuade


Specific purpose:         To persuade my listeners that animal rights are a matter of great                                                       importance within the societal setting

Ø  Definition of Animal Rights and their History

 

Ø  Orienting Material

Ø  Laws governing animals and the various developments with regards to animal rights over the past century.

Body


Ø  Do animals have rights?

Ø  Is animal experimentation justified?

Ø  Is hunting ethical?

 

Ø  The moral status of animals

Ø  Artists, animals, and ethics


Conclusion


 

Ø  Animal Rights should be taken into serious consideration

Ø  The number of pets is ever growing and so are the various interactions between human beings and animals

Ø  Clincher

Ø  It is unfair to hold back from animals the very fundamental rights we as human beings cannot fail to exist with

            The society is ever growing interested with regards to animal rights and their impact to the welfare and well being of animals within the societal context.
