Specific purpose:         To persuade my listeners that animal rights are a matter of great                                                       importance within the societal setting

Central idea:                Animal rights should be taken into serious consideration as the number of                                       pets in various homes is continuously growing and the interactions                                                  between humans and animals continue to diversify
