First Draft -Animal Rights



                                                         Animal Rights


Introduction

 

            There are numerous advantages attached to this research topic. The research not only focuses on one of the fastest growing topics in society today, but is also provided with a wealth of information and statistics concerning the various elements and topics therein. This research topic is relevant in more ways than one. Over the course of time, animal rights have become an increasingly important topic. According to Beers, people are constantly shifting from the traditional mindset of disregarding animal rights to embracing these beautiful creatures”1 . Unlike in the past, the society today has been sensitized to take into serious consideration the rights and privileges of animals. With every new dawn, more and more people are being sensitized with regards to the right of animals and the rightful treatment of the various creatures we share our environment with. The popularity of animal rights continues to grow with every new dawn. More and more resources are being allocated into research activities aimed at addressing the rights of animals (Beers). 

            Most discussions on rights have been focused on human rights since time immemorial. The topic of animal rights comes as a new topic within this discussion platform and more people are getting interested with this new topic and what it has to offer. As a topic, animal rights are connected to other important and hotly contested topics. Discussions of the animal rights are important as they bring out the position of different stakeholders with regards to this issue. Analysis of the various stakeholders in these discussions brings out the modern trends in this topic as well as the impact of animal rights in the various geographical regions. Governments and other elements of the society are interested in this topic and this is evident in the amount of attention that has been attributed to the topic of animal rights (Beers).

            Conducting a research on this topic is easy as there are numerous organizations and institutions that have stored statistics that are foundational in the research on this topic. The statistics on this subject are kept up to date by the various continuous studies on the subject. This study is also important in addressing the questions that have been left unanswered in the course of previous studies and researches (Sherry).  The society is ever growing interested with regards to animal rights and their impact to the welfare and well being of animals within the societal context.

Body

Animal Liberation and developments

            The topic of animal liberation is important as it looks into the animal rights that have been in existence and the impact of the various animal rights and related practices. According to Bostock, animal liberation is an important element of this research as it brings out what is familiar in the society with regards to animal rights”2. Although most of the people within the societal setting are not extensively conversant with the various animal rights, animal liberation is common in the societal mindset. The concept of animal liberation will be foundational in the course of the research.

Animal Rights

            The research is focused on analyzing the foundation of animal rights, the history therein, and the developments that have taken place over the course of time. This question is as it provides the entire research with a strong foundation. Arguing about this question will be undertaken through challenging the default mindset that exists with regards to the rights of human beings. The question of whether animals have rights will be handled at the beginning of the research so as to ensure the audience remains on course throughout the course of the research.

Animal rights and the politics of literary representation 

            In the research,, the various animal rights will be analyzed in light of the politics of literary representation. The various stakeholders and shareholders presented in the topic of animal rights will be foundational in this section of the research. Here, the researcher will be looking to establish the impact of political decisions made with regards to exercising animal rights. This section of the research is also important as it analyzes the developments that have taken place in the course of time with regards to literary representation. Animal rights are affected by policies formulated in the political arena in more ways than one.

Animal experimentation

            The use of animals in medical and other scientific experiments is of great importance in the course of the research. The topic of animal experimentation is so important in the discussion of animal rights that it is practically impossible to conduct analysis on the research topic without touching on animal experimentation. Animal experimentation is of great importance as it brings into the research the place of science in the debate. Science and technology continue to influence society in different ways. As society evolves, the place of science and technology continues to become more and more important. Today, there are lifestyles built entirely on science and technology. Some of the strongest convictions in the society are founded out of science, technology, and the various developments therein. In arguing about animal experimentation, there are numerous convictions established and developed on science and technology. Medicine continues to be an important force to recon with in the debate of whether animal experimentation is justified or not. Those in support of animal experimentation on the basis of medicine have strong convictions with regards to the debate. The research will be designed to address both sides of the debate and come up with an informed judgment about the justification of animal experimentation (Franklin).

Hunting and human rights

            The topics of hunting and similar practices play an important role in this research. Hunting will be analyzed with regards to the nature and level of ethics presented in the practice. Here, the research will look into different types of hunting and how hunting has evolved over the course of time. Hunting will also be analyzed with animal rights in mind and how the hunting practices affect animal rights. This section of the research will be dealt with extensively since it deals with one of the most common practices that impact animal rights (Franklin).

Animals and the entertainment industry

            It is foundational to understand that the entire research revolves around the relationship between animals and people. There is very little being utilized in the research with regards to the different animal to animal relationships. According to Sherry, the entertainment industry is one of the platforms through which the relationship between man and animals is established and constantly enhanced”3. The research will look into the various ways through which animals in the entertainment industry are used. This information will be foundational in the analysis of the animal rights and how they are affected in the course of relating to people within the entertainment industry. Abuse in analysis of animal rights will not only be defined in light of the relationship between man and animal, but also with the infringement of fundamental animal rights in mind (Beers).

The moral status of animals

            This is perhaps the most valuable element of discussion with regards to defending the animal rights. According to Kistler, the moral status of animals is foundational in the analysis of the relationship that exists between human beings and animals”4 . Morality in animals is analyzed with foundational information being borrowed from the human race. This section of the research is important as it will look into the various definitions of morality and use these in defining the moral status of animals. The moral status of animals is the very grounds through which rights for animals are established and developed. The researcher will focus their attention on similar researches that have been undertaken to explain and or expound the moral status of animals. The information therein will be utilized in the analysis of animal rights, their formation, and the numerous challenges these rights have experienced over the course of time. The research will invest in looking at the moral status of animals, its foundations, the changes it has undergone over time, and the overall impact of this concept in the administration and development of animal rights (Beers).

The visibility of violence

            The visibility of violence is one of the most discussed topics with regards to the subject of animal rights. In the course of the research, the visibility of violence will not only be explained, but also expounded to come up with important details concerning the animal rights. The visibility of violence will also be addressed with regards to the impact it has on the development of animal rights and how this has changed over the course of time (Franklin).

Artists, animals, and ethics

            This section of the research will be focused on the various works of articles and the ethical implications these have over the administration and development of animal rights, Different artists have different interpretations of animals. Animals are also utilized differently from one artist to another. It is clear to understand the attitude of an artist about animals by looking at their finished products. According to Franklin, the same platform through which an artist communicates their feelings about animals is the same arena through which the animal rights are analyzed”5 . The influence of artists and legendary artistic pieces in the society will be analyzed in light of the animal rights and the various developments therein (Sherry).

 

 

Conclusion

The topic of animal rights is of great importance in the analysis of human-animal interactions. The importance of this topic is ever growing and the platforms for analysis are ever increasing. The society is ever growing interested with regards to animal rights and their impact to the welfare and well being of animals within the societal context. The moral status of animals is foundational in the analysis of the relationship that exists between human beings and animals. Morality in animals is analyzed with foundational information being borrowed from the human race. It is almost impossible to analyze the topic of animal rights without touching on the different reasons behind breeding animals for food.
